Imagen announced today that Aegis Trust, the UK based organization that works to prevent crimes against humanity, has installed an Imagen asset management system to store, manage and publish content relating to the Rwandan President’s peace efforts.
Aegis works closely with the Rwandan Government and other local institutions to prevent genocide through education against prejudice, and to rebuild the lives of survivors and communities damaged by genocide. The organisation was commissioned by the Office of the President in Rwanda to install a system capable of managing and distributing its media assets relating to President Paul Kagame’s efforts to bring peace, order and stability to the region. Imagen was chosen as the platform to store, manage and publish this content, making it easily accessible to the press, media organisations and the public. Topics to be covered include Business and Economic Development, Justice, Sports, Social Development, Education, Science and Technology and Culture.
Franco Kanimba, Aegis Trust, said, “While Rwanda has endured a troubled past, this new online archive will contain media content of press conferences, award ceremonies, and documentaries from various sectors of the Rwandan government. With the ease of use that Imagen gives us, online users will see how Rwanda has, and still is, rebuilding a peaceful, stable and democratic regime, with the help of the Aegis Trust.’
