Imagen proud to join this year’s SVG College Summit

On Thursday 31st May, Imagen attended the SVG College Summit in Atlanta. The event brought together a packed house of more than 600 college-video professionals, focused on the creative and story-telling aspects of college video production.

This year we were thrilled to be joined by Weston Carter from Auburn University, who demonstrated Imagen’s work with Auburn Athletics department in a case study session – “Special Delivery: How Auburn University is delivering more content and a better service for local news and beyond”.

During the session, Weston explained how Auburn’s dedicated video sharing platform (powered by Imagen) enables logged in users to search and play back game highlights, as well as interviews, press conferences and exclusive behind the scenes footage. Power users can create clips, make collections and download high resolution files ready for broadcast. The self-serve video platform offers plenty of choice, delivers a feature rich user experience and is a great time saver for local journalists and production teams.

Imagen’s cloud based, distributed platform enabled Auburn to quickly deploy and scale with their growing needs. The challenge was to improve content management and increased speed to publish through local news stations and broadcasters. Auburn can now review usage using Imagen’s User Analytics feature to find out what their clients are using and, more importantly, what they are not. With this valuable insight, Auburn can hone their content production strategy to create even more compelling content that aligns with audience trends.

Auburn’s solution not only enables secure access to valuable content, it provides an elegant delivery system that has been fully branded to reflect the high standards and quality associated with the college itself. The process of content retrieval has been optimised to provide rapid access to specific moments in just a few clicks. Jump in to the Weston’s presentation below and find out why Imagen and college sports are a perfect match.
