Video ads can really set you apart from all the other static ads on the internet. They give your customers a chance to get to know you, your people and your business. And to feel comfortable with you. That’s something that’s equally important for small, local businesses as well as large, potentially ‘faceless’ corporations.
They help customers see the real value of your product
People are much more likely to buy a product after they’ve seen a video showing them how they could use it, or how it could make their life just that little bit easier. They’ll gain a much better understanding of what it could do for them if they can see it in action, rather than from just reading a list of benefits. You can also keep track of how many people are watching the video – an indication of all the potential sales that could be out there.

(Okay, so this one is about numbers.) According to the Forrester Research Group, ‘video is 53 times more likely than text pages to appear on the first page of a search engine’. That’s because part of the algorithm Google uses for search rankings looks at how long people spend on your website. So if they’re watching a video about your newest product, chances are they’re going to stay longer than if they’re just looking at a couple of pictures of it.
