Corporate Responsibility

In 2016, Imagen Ltd became a BBC Media Action corporate partner, joining an elite group of companies dedicated to improving lives through media around the world.

BBC Media Action is owned by the BBC and it is their international development charity. They use the power of media and communication to help reduce poverty and support people in understanding their rights. Their aim is to inform, connect and empower people around the world.

The charity produces over 200 hours of video every year to reach over 200 million people in Africa Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North America.

BBC Media Action chose Imagen’s Enterprise Video Platform to help them implement an online multimedia archive enabling their teams working around the world to easily and efficiently share their editorial content.

Imagen has a strong heritage in Cambridgeshire and specifically within the village of Willingham, which has been the home of our HQ for a great number of years. A rural yet well-equipped village just north of the famous university city of Cambridge, it has played a significant role in the growth of the company and we are very proud to be able to give back to the area in a number of ways.

    Local Developments:

Beyond growing and developing our offices and creating jobs for those within the local community, we also support and take part in local fundraisers and events organised by the locals.

This includes contributing to the development of the village recreation ground – a great community-led project that has made a real difference to young families in the area.

Imagen has taken part in a number of charitable events and activities over the years including:

Sponsoring and taking part in numerous Samaritans Golf Days.

Entering a team into the Cambridge Chariots of Fire relay race – raising money for East Anglian Children’s Hospice (EACH).
