Imagen Ltd is proud to announce that it has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certification, the internationally recognised standard for quality management. The award confirms that Imagen Ltd has reached required standards for its Quality Management System (QMS) which promotes the development of continual improvement, focus on customer satisfaction and traceability through the implementation of various management system processes.
The Quality Policy helps the organisation to anticipate and meet the needs of clients and promotes confidence that the company is working to standards and procedures that will provide a high level of customer service, and to assure the conformity to any customer of any applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Imagen’s CFO/COO Will Stephens comments, “In all honesty, we originally set out to achieve the ISO 9001:2008 certification just so that we could say that we had the badge, or the logo on the door, but as we started to work through the process of setting up the Quality Systems we found that we were really standing back and thinking about everything we do as a company. This is a process that is rarely given the time that it needs, and was invaluable for us. We started to think about every nuance of procedure in terms of what would be best for us as a company as well as what would derive greatest customer satisfaction. This provided a standardised method of working which sets the bar for all members of our team on a daily basis, and facilitates more simplified staff induction and training. The systems are subject to both internal and independent external audits on all processes, not only to make sure that all processes are being adhered to, but also to continuously re-evaluate and improve the way that we work.
“We are seeing a gradual ‘buy in’ from everyone involved, from top down, as the value of the methodology becomes more and more apparent. Now we have a cohesive team all using the same processes and all working towards the same objectives.
